Lions Clubs International is the largest non-governmental service organisation recognised by UNO. It has the strenght of more than 2.5 Lakhs membership world wide. The founder is Melvin Jones (1879 - 1961). The Motto is "WE SERVE" and lions all over the world are committed to serve the poor, needy and downtrodden for bringing smiles in their lives and Touch a Heart. Lions Clubs International, District 324C 3 comprising of clubs from parts of twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, revenue districts of Warangal, Karimnagar and Adilabad. The district is proud of their permanent projects like Lions Eye Hospitals at Secunderabad, Balanagar, Bellampally and Karimnagar (Rekurthi), NIMS oncology block, Community Drinking water project at Bejjanki village, Hakimpet mandal, Chellapur and Dommata villages, Blood banks, adopted schools, cremation grounds, adult education centres, old age homes and Lions Bridge School.  The district also has the distinction of motivating and arranging deceased human bodies to medical colleges in this year.  The district clubs have taken a task of removing blindness the dream of Hellen Keller by motivating and collecting 248 pairs of eye balls, 10512 IOL surgeries.
